Mail Boxes and Gravel

Day 5 - Now that I've figured out how to do the selective desaturation, I'm liking it. I probably should have done a closer crop on this. I'll play with it more later.

  1. I like it! It's just a little bit ironic that I see something like this in my very tiny hometown and think nothing of it, but in your photograph, it looks great. Why didn't I take that photo?!!!? :) I like the selective coloring. I'll have to learn that one of these days. (I just barely learned how to put a border & crop).

  2. Closer crop wouldn't hurt, but I like the selective desat. Did a good job with that!

  3. I like what you're doing with the selective desat. You choose just the right thing to leave in colour. I agree with the closer crop though...gives more to the leading line

  4. great job on the selective desat. A closer crop would be nice - but still, good eye. I really like the angle you shot this at too.

  5. Composition is good with regard to angle; however, I agree with the others on the closer crop. Selective saturation works well.

  6. One of the best decisions for selective desat I've seen.

    Great idea to do it.
