Barn and Vineyard

Douglas County Oregon has many vineyards and wineries that produce ribbon winning wines. This old barn sits in front of a local vineyard. I thought the combination worked well.

For Annie: I don't drink wine so I can't make any recommendations for good Umpqua Valley wines but you can check them out here I hear Henry's Winery makes excellent wine.

  2. Nice shot. Somehow that modern looking horse trailer is an eye sore.
Wonder if it could be cloned out. Even with it, this makes a really nice image.

  3. my opinion about the horse trailer is different. I like it; makes the foto more interesting. The various shades in the foreground grass is quite stunning. Looks like the Midwest somehow.

  6. I love this shot. I'd like to see a little more dramatic sky, but hey I dont think we can get mothernature to help us out all the time can we. This is nicely composed and great perspective. Nicely done.

  8. Thanks for visiting the visual feast Faye...
Is this the red shed from a different angle? I do like this image too. I'm new to digital photography after being afraid to move away from film. I could see this image in black and white taken with a red filter to make the sky dramatic, I am still unsure to how that would be done on a digital, hmm? Keep up the great work and I will be visiting again soon.
