Bridge in Fog

I headed up the coast again over the weekend. I think I'm turning into a gypsy in my old age. I love the mottled look of this bridge. I don't remember exactly where I took it (that comes with old age too) but I think its somewhere between Florence and New Port Oregon. Photowannabe do you remember where this bridge is?

  1. Faye, it sure looks familar. Is it right before Florence? No matter where it is, it's got so much character to it. Nice fog hanging in the trees and the bridge textures are perfect. It makes me want to be a gypsy too.

  2. I often wish when I see photos like this that the photographer would give me lessons. Don't know how you did it, but it is very attractive.

  4. Thanks for the comments.

Kate, I'm not a great photographer. My secret is quantity. When I go out shooting I seldom take less than 500 shots. With that many, one or two of them would HAVE to turn out decent :)

  5. Faye, I've heard many times that in photography it's quantity that leads to quality. You and I take pictures the same way. Digital photography is the only way for me since I could never afford all the processing fees otherwise.

This is a wonderful atmospheric photo.

  10. Memory is a funny thing, but mine tends to be photograph in nature. I kind of think in pictures. I can be talking to a person, and they will say “Hi, my name is so and so”, and I will immediately forget their name. This can happen with someone I have met many times! The interesting thing is that with my photographs, I very often have very vivid recall as to where/when a photo was taken. I guess I am entering the selective memory stage.

P.S. I do like the bridge shot!
