The Loooooooooong Barn

This poor old barn has seen better days and I have never seen one quite so long. I wonder if they raised chickens there at one time. This barn is on the North Umpqua Highway, east of Roseburg.

Meg, your guess was good... and funny :)

  1. The wavy roof line makes for a interesting vision, doesn't it. Of course, I want to stand back, outside, not even one toe under that precarious looking structure.

  7. I see the face Kate sees...kind of. The wavy roofing could be either a wedding veil or just long hair. :)

This is really a good photo.

I really like your NeoCounter too.

  10. Hi, Faye!

Great shots! I know I've been to your blog before, but I really enjoyed seeing the pictures you've been taking lately. The fall shots are great - lots of nice compositions. I'll be back to see more - keep up the great work!
