Cool one.I'm glad my post encouraged you.I tried commenting on your upcoming Blog (the Oregon one) but it wouldn't let me.
What a peaceful, contemplative photo. Looks like a great place to spend the day watching the waves with the gull. :-)
tres belle photo, beaucoup de douceur et j'aime beaucoup les couleurs sur cette photo."Gull on Rock" voila un bon titre de chanson. very beautiful photograph, much of softness and I like much the colors on this photograph.“Gull on Rock” veiled a good title of song.
Faye, the browns are so rich!!
Without wishing to offend anyone, may I recall the first occasion we visited a nature-focused area in New Zealand. We went on a small-ish rubber boat thing in Kaikoura to see the whales (really, not a big boat) and on our way we went to a gannet (I think) colony. What you don't see in photographs or TV is that .... bird colonies smell really bad! Compared to that, the whales were wonderful!
Nice shot. I like the colors.
Great textures and shades of browns. I like the smooth water behind the rocks.
And didn't they decorate nicely for the season. Or maybe I should say decorate for any season.
