Brick House Revisited

Some of you will remember this old broken down building from a few weeks ago. I went back to visit it today and was delighted to see some goats in the field.

I still couldn't get up close to it but I did walk further up and down the road to get some different views.

I like the detail and texture in the brick with the telephoto lens.

  5. Faye, I see it has plumbing. I wonder if this was on old wash house? Is this the one in Wilbur?

  9. Anna, yes it is the one in Wilbur. It may have been a wash house it just seems strange they would have built it of brick. Maybe brick wasn't so expensive in those days though.

  10. Well worth going back for these images. They are all good, but No. 2 is also my fave.

  11. I think no 4 is my favorite, because of the greenery seemingly growing out of the roofless house. Number 2 would be close second.

  12. I didn't think it would be possible for someone to post a house in worse repair than the house I posted today. But you did Faye, you did!
