Needful Things... and Rust

A friend from work (thank you Cathey)told me about a country road she was on that had some neat old barns and "buildings with old things hanging on them". I found the old barns and of course got some shots of them, but when I found the "buildings with old things hanging on them" I was thrilled and stopped to take dozens of shots.

There are so many wonderful things on and around this building and a smaller one next to it, this will probably fill my blog for the rest of the week. I hope you find it as interesting as I do.

  1. Faye, Love it, love them, love the whole bunch. Awesome place. Is it an antique store or someone's home?
    You found a photo treasure.

  2. Wow!! What a find. Here in the east that stuff would sell for a mint and if left hang around unprotected it would soon be gone!

  3. The first shot gives us the setting, but the second and third shots are wonderful. I'm looking forward to the rest of the week!

  5. Photowanna, it was just along a country road. There is a house down the road a little ways and it sits next to a barn filled with hay so I assume a rancher lives there. Probably an old one :)

Yes it is a treasure. I walked around looking for 15 or 20 minutes and no one came out so I'm sure it would be easy for things to be lifted.

Maybe in this case "one man's treasures is another man's junk"

You sure find the good stuff. I'll have to find something over here for you so I can watch you grab it with your camera. :) nita
