I think it makes an interesting photo. Because now we ponder the reason for white plastic being on an old barn. You remember seeing a horse, or a mule, sit down? That's sort of what this barn seems to be doing....through my eyes anyway. :)I'll have to think about the white plastic. Nita
ok, I thought. You don't think this was to keep the rain out? lol The barn is so old. Maybe a way of banner advertisement? Is it close to the highway? (I need to get a life) Nita
Nita, it is out in the middle of nowhere so it wasn't advertisement. I think it was to keep the rain out at one time. They probably gave up trying after awhile.
anyway I find interesting the relationship betwwen natural and artificial materials and the way they take time over them...and what about the stability of the ground? ...it's like being on the sea waiving..good luck for this year ¡¡
One might think it was snow, but either way, the light color really works well in breaking up the darker area - as well as echoing the white of the sky.
Only 364 more days to post what should we do? Kidding glad you are continuing.
tres belle photo, la maison est superbe, elle est devenu un personnage de la nature.very beautiful photograph, the house is superb, it became a character of nature.
As I have said many times I love old barns. This poor old barn really has seen better days. Love the earthy tones and textures.
today's visitors: south korea - 1 ... i'm guessing that's me! haha!i like your first shot for the year. the owner of the barn is clearly oblivious to the picturesque nature of his field.great start to the new year ... only 364 more photos to go.cheersdavid super-dave.com
Lovely - so sweet.Happy new year 2007!
The barn is great. Very picturesque (or whatever you spell it). The plastic is totally against a law, I agree :)
Great barn, love the lean it has! Best of luck with your PAD 2007 :o)
It would be fun if you'd treat us to a barn collage, too!
Great start for your 2007 PAD project. I will come back often to see your work. All the best,
Well it kinda looks like snow!
I thought it could be snow until I read your text, Faye. It sure is a beautiful spot, nestled in the hilss like that.
Looks like snow to me...but I'm blind as a bat. Great shot! :)
Very cool image. The plastic doesn't detract anything from it.I see you changed your template a little.
