Feeding Time

This is the before picture of my yesterday's post. I wondered how they moved those big bales and now know they use a tractor. The farmer was loading the bales into the cattle feeders. The cows were waiting patiently.

  1. they seem to be used to it ....that explains the patience I guess, or may be cows are patient by nature???

  3. I have not seen this before so it is interesting to me also. The cows are patient creatures.

  4. This photo looks like it could be an illustration in a children's storybook. Dont know why exactly I have that feeling; perhaps it's because there is different activity and possibilities.

  5. I really like the feel of this shot. It does have the essence of fall about it. Great longshadow lighting.
I never knew I was a country girl at heart until I started viewing your blog. Love it...
To answer your race track question: Yes the track is soapy and very wet. A huge truck makes several turns around the track dumping a foamy soap mixture all over it and then the mister type sprinklers make it a bit more liquidy. Its a real slip sliding away time for all, part demolition derby part just make it to the end of the 200 laps.
