Honesty

Honesty

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I've been hiding out for a few days, not much feeling like posting. But the blogger friends I've made here are important to me and one shouldn't hide from friends, so I thought I'd be honest instead.

Some medical tests I had recently came back with "highly suspicious" cells. My Dr did a DNC Friday and we are waiting for those reports to come back. Its a bit scary but I'm pretty much OK. I just didn't feel like posting as though everything is normal when it isn't. So, dear blogger friends, this is where I am. I would appreciate the prayers of those so inclined.

Thanks

Faye

  1. You already know you have my prayers, dear sister of mine.

You are very brave to be so honest. Honestly, I think I'd have hidden out a few more days, waited for test results. Your strength and serenity have always shone through in times of trial. I admire you so much. It WILL be ok. love, Nita

  2. Thanks for your honest approach to this trial. I want you to know that I will keep you in my prayers. I don't want to give platitudes, just know that you are loved and there are lots of people in blogdom that really care. I do...

  11. Dear Faye, I am sorry that you have to go through this anxious period. Rest well and let us know how your are doing. I don't pray, but I light candles at my Thai Spirit Altar, which I will do for the next few days!

  15. Dear Faye: It does get scarry and virtually impossible to imagine until it happens to you. Last summer it was such a time for me. (Praise God, it turned out OK)

Thank you for sharing and do stay positive - it helps in the healing process too. It is a difficult time for you right now, but without those, there can be no victory. Look forward to yours.

    Julie

  17. Hi Faye...
I don't know you and I'm new to your blog, but you have friends and well wishers aplenty. I'm not one to pray, but if wishes ever come true... my wish for you would be right up there.
You are in our thoughts at this time.
