Trunk

I thought the shape of this pine/fir tree was so interesting. Its unusual to see such a huge branch like the one close to the ground.

  2. That looks like what my friends and I used to call a reading tree. That lowest branch looks like a perfect spot to curl up with a good book.

  4. Love this shot! I had tried to take some pics last weekend of some roots that looked interesting, but the shot didn't come out quite right. This shot is very interesting. I agree with commenters above... great reading spot and great for climbing! If that tree could talk... I bet it could tell some wonderful stories!
