Artsy Flight

I love it when I can save a photo that should have been deleted. This birds tail was so blown out that I was about the delete it when I decided I liked the clouds well enough to try to save it. I think I like how it turned out. Sometimes I have to go back to a photo a few times to know for sure if I like it.

  6. i like it Faye, the clouds are a plus, for sure... the glow from the sun puts the bird in silhouette bringing it all together quite nicely....

  10. You did well to save this one. Although I'm not sure about what sort of bird this is, the photo immediately brought to mind "Jonathan Livingston Seagull." Just lovely!

I arrived here through the recommendation of David's authorblog Post of the Day. I'm so glad I came.

  11. It's beautiful. It makes me think it was created to illustrate something--a thought, a feeling, something.
