Bambi - Sunday Archives

Could it get any cuter? This little black-tailed deer was standinig next to a dirt road with his mother. When I stopped to get a shot, he looked up at me with his bright curious eyes and his ears all perked up. I love how you can see the light through the ears.

  2. wow.. fantastic shot. I like the shine in the deer's eyes. that look gives you the feeling that she's trying to tell a story.

I'll answer to your question here:
That objet in my third photo from the Countryside post it's, hmm how can I translate it in one word, it's a pile of dry grass. People make these things so it can stay dry until they get it in their farms where it's used for feeding animals over the winter.

Hope it was an explanation that gives you an idea about what is that.
Please excuse me for any mistake in expressing my thoughts or mistakes of spelling.

  9. Hi Faye,

You asked about the Model-T on my photoblog yesterday. It is located at the Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar, CA which is just north of Los Angeles.

  14. Your photo is totally delightful. I also love the light through its ears! It's funny, I was just photographing the sea lions yesterday, and tomorrow they may be on the blog.

  15. Is this a mule deer? You're right, it's the light that does it. A truly fine close-up! Nicely defined; very sharp.

    Super shot!

  23. How adorable. I just got shots of one that looks like him, when we were up in Mill Valley and the deer were fairly close to my son's yard.
